Open Sundays, 1-6pm
February 8, 2011 — Obsession: The Book ofRevelations from the Koran, by Meg Hitchcock,
is the Book of Revelation collaged directly
onto the gallery wall — using letters cut from
an English translation of the Koran. Each
letter is cut individually and glued directly
to the wall in a wavering line approximately
47″ from the floor. The lines wrap around the
perimeter of the gallery until the entire text is
written out. Woven into this transcription of
the Book of Revelations are Muslim prayers
and personal meditations.
“Reality Bites: The Too-True Art of Andrew Ohanesian”
Read this excellent interview with Andrew Ohanesian in the Williamsburg Greenpoint News + Art paper: “Reality Bites: The Too-True Art of Andrew Ohanesian.” Cheers, Andrew. It was awesome working with you.

A few years ago I saw the Akron/Family bass player plodding down the Bedford Ave L stop stairs yelling “Shitty haircuts, get out of the way.”
